Threaded inserts are pre-embedded/inserted fasteners specifically designed for unthreaded substrates. Their core function is to implant standard internal threads into substrates such as plastics, wood, thin sheets, and die-cast aluminum—materials where direct tapping is impossible or insufficient—achieving a reliable threaded connection. They also reinforce threads, repair stripped teeth, and increase load-bearing capacity. - Pre-embedded injection-molded threaded inserts (plastic substrate preferred)
Core principle: The insert is pre-embedded in the mold before injection molding. During injection, it fuses with the molten plastic to form a strong, integrated unit, eliminating the need for subsequent secondary processing.

- Adhesive/press-in threaded inserts (compatible with special substrates)
Core principle: It is bonded to the substrate with strong adhesive or pressed in with an interference fit, making it suitable for special fragile substrates that cannot be injection molded, riveted, or self-tapping.
